This offering is a BRANDON 130 telescope which I bought from VERNONSCOPE & CO. BACK IN 1997. I am the only owner of this scope, so I know without question that is has always been treated as the treasure which it is. As the years have gone by it has been in actual use only rarely, and not at all in the last 8-10 years. Therefore I offer it for sale.
I shall not attempt to advertise the high quality of the BRANDON 130, for anyone reading this will surely be knowledgable of the reputation and beauty of this model. They only made fewer than 100 of these and they rarely are offered for resale.
The scope was ordered with a 2" Star Diagonal, 30mm wide field (88 degree) LEITZ eyepiece, a 16mm brandon eyepiece with 2"-1.25" adaptor, and a 2.4x Dakin Barlow. The finder scope is fitted with a 40mm Vernonscope eyepiece. These are all included.
There is also a wooden case which holds the main tube assembly, if going in search of darker-sky viewing. I have only actually used that case on two occasions over the years. It is also included.
Shipping will be only within CONUS.
