Like new waterproof Alpen Spotting Scope (20-60X80, Model 788) and Vanguard Abeo Tripod (243 AV). They have only been used a handful of times. I'm looking to upgrade, but this scope is great (nice clear, crisp views) and the tripod is lightweight, aluminum alloy. It was easy to handle in the field. I used it to watch birds.
The scope eyepiece provides 20x to 60x magnification and is 45 degrees. The lenses are multi-coated for a brighter image. The field of view is 55 ft (@ 1000 yards @ 60x) to 113 ft (@1000 yards @ 20x). The scope came with a short tripod (for hunters), but I never used it. I am also including a protective carrying case that opens on both ends so you don't need to completely remove the scope to use it. Alpen is no longer in business, but Explore Scientific is the company who bought them out. I believe they will honor the no-fault lifetime warranty, but you will need to contact them directly to ask that question. The scope was originally purchased for $650-700 (I no longer have the receipt).
The Vanguard ABEO 243AV tripod is one of the nicest I've had for the money (originally ~$250). It is extremely light weight, 4.5 lbs, and has padded legs for added comfort when carrying it. It does come with a carrying case as well. It extends to 61.75 inches and has a folded height of just over 26 inches. The scope has an attachment plate on it that goes with this scope. Please note that I used Loc-tite on the plate to avoid stripping it because I didn't intend on switching the scope between tripods. You can still remove the plate, but use care when doing so. The tripod is steady, but in higher winds, you may want to hang something like a bag of sand on the hook at the bottom of the pan head.
