I have spoken to the person who was probably the maker of the telescope (it was himself or his predecessor) at B.C.& F. (Broadhurst, Clarkson & Fuller). He has confirmed that despite it only being marked on the eyepiece and not on the end of the barrel it is an original Broadhurst Clarkson piece. He thinks it dates to about 1996 or later. The tripod is perhaps not the original, there are a few scrapes on the paint on the triangular leg brace piece. Optically the telescope is O.K. but dusty inside so lenses will need a clean and the brass needs polishing. There are no dents or dings. I think there is a screw cap dust cover missing from the top of the eyepiece.
Total length extended is about 55", 140cm, length of main barrel is about 41" 104cm. Diameter of main barrel is a little over 3".
