Celestron no longer makes this particular eyepiece set. The closest match is their $170 6 eyepiece and 6 filter kit, so my price is a bargain!
The set includes the following eyepieces
Also included are Tasco 1.5x and Tasco 3x Barlow lenses. A Barlow lens is a concave lens that when placed between a telescope's objective lens or mirror and the eyepiece, will increase the magnification of the telescope.
Between the eyepieces and Barlow lenses, you have about 12 possible combinations of magnification. To determine the magnification, you divide the focal length by the eyepiece size.
For example, if you have a Celestron PowerSeeker 127EQ Telescope, it's focal length is 1000mm and aperture is 127mm. Using the 4mm eyepiece will give you (1000/4) = 250X magnification!
NOTE: The maximum possible magnification of a 127mm aperture telescope is 317.5X.
