Used Celestron Carbon Fiber Nexstar 11" GPS XLT Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope. Comes with Fastar F/2 imaging secondary mirror, updated hand controller firmware, and eyepiece/filter kit (25% of components missing).
Always stored in cool office environment when not in use, carried in large pelican case when transported (not included), and has been collimated by a professional optical engineer every year/when needed. Telescope was used for astrophotography and photometry. Self-guided GPS and telescope calibration works great, tracking is quite good for a 2007 telescope mount. Latitude axis freewheel slipping is visible on the PEC PC tool (a known problem) which has caused some blurring on longer (>2hr) exposures but isn't perceivable for recreational stargazing. Solution to that problem would require you to tighten the flywheel bolt with some thread locker.
Mirrors and optics cleaned periodically or before long exposures with first-contact polymer cleaning solution which has an advantage of being applied/removed as a stretchy pink film and lifts up particulate or microdebris on optics surfaces. Doesn't require much if any mirror disassembly for full cleaning.
Selling it to make room for a 14" SCT recently purchased.
Asking $2200.00 OBO.
Local pickup is recommended.
