For sale is my nearly new Celestron 6 SE telescope with Star Sense Autoalign, GPS, 10 MP imager, plus tons more accessories! I've used it about 3 times and the only reason I'm parting with it is I've discovered the houses around where I live obstruct too much of what I want to see. Not to mention that my urban neighborhood has way too much light pollution. Here's a comprehensive list of everything that comes with it and what I paid for it:
Celestron 6SE Telescope with tripod and 25 mm Plossl eyepiece: $800
Celestron StarSense Autoalign: $321
Celestron 10 MP Computer Imager (for astrophotography): $214
Celestron SkySync GPS: $120
Motorized Remote Control Focus: $79
32 mm eyepiece and 2x Barlow: $76
Celestron 8-24 mm zoom eyepiece: $65
Digital SLR camera prime focus mount (Canon adapter): $30
Lithium battery pack for telescope operations: $30
AC Adapter for telescope: $22
Total package as purchased: $1777. Willing to let the entire package go for $1000. Since the shipping for this telescope and accessories is going to cost me about $100, you're basically getting everything for $900!
With the StarSense Autoalign and Celstron SkySync, this is truly a "turn key" operation (something people are often disappointed with when they purchase just the telescope). You simply turn it on, let the GPS orient itself, then hit the StarSense Autoalign. Once it automatically aligns itself, you can head straight to the Messier library to start your night of viewing. Also comes with a Celestron 10 MP computer imager, for those wanting to try their hand at astrophotography. I've taken some excellent photos of Jupiter and Saturn with this setup. I can't include them on this listing as they're not large enough. Message me and I'll be happy to send them to you so you can see what it's capable of. The full specs for this telescope and the many accessories can be found quickly by searching for them on AMZN.
I will also include the Nex-Star users guide, an excellent book by Michael Swanson. It will show you everything you need to know about using this telescope and all the accessories.
