2012 made Intes-Micro M715 Maksutov Cassegrain 7" f/15 telescope for serious astronomers wanting very high optical quality and planetary images. This scope was tested with a wavefront error of just L/8.5 and a strehl of 0.98 which is extraordinary for american makers, but not for Intes-Micro. This is the standard version still seen on sale in england for 2,999 british pounds or $3782. This one comes with a better 50mm Explore Scientific illuminated reticle finder scope, dust cover, 2" mirror diagonal and Losmandy dovetail mount plate attached and in a supremely strong and protective Pelican IM2950 storm case with fitted foam. The binocular viewers and mount in the photos are NOT included. The condition of the scope is used but I enjoyed it immensely. I am scaling down as the new house is too small for all my toys.
The price paid for the scope in 2012 was $2775. Add in a good 2" mirror diagonal with dielectric coatings $170., the finder scope $140. and the $200. case as added value.
