This is a Konus Super Polaris System tripod and mount. It is very heavy duty and has 13lbs of counter weights. The counter weight shaft is 3/4 inch in diameter. It had a 4.8" refractor on it. The refractor OTA weighs about 12 lbs. I don't know what the maximum payload is but I do believe it is more than 12 lbs. It is a lot heavy dutier than an Eq 2 mount and very sturdy as you can see from the photos. The two motors do work. It has a battery pack and hand controller and it works when you push the buttons. It also has a crosshair alignment scope that incorporated into the mount. It has both slow motion control knobs. All locks and slow motion controls work. It doesn't have the Vixen style mount. One of the legs has a hose clamp around the lock to keep it from cracking further area as seen in the photos but it still locks securely in place and functions as it supposed to. I put a lot of pressure on it and it won't give. One of the plugins on the the RA motor had to be replaced and I had to splice the wires but the motor still functions and the hand control will still turn the motor on. It does have an accessory tray also. One of the lobes on the counter weight lock is broken off, but is still locks. This tripod is very heavy and the shipping would cost too much to ship. So it is local pickup only. This is a much sturdier tripod than what comes on an Orion 130 eq mount.
