This is a Meade Lightbridge telescope with a diameter of 12” on the primary mirror. It has served me well for 3 years. The mirror box adjustment knobs have been upgraded with stronger springs and steel turn knobs. The secondary mirror screws have been upgraded with finger knobs instead of Philips screws so you can adjust collimating by hand without a screw driver. Comes with original 25mm 2” eyepiece and an 8mm 1.25” eye piece for planetary viewing. I have seen Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn (including Cassini divisions in rings), Uranus, and Neptune with this scope. Several deep sky objects are easily visible. Includes a precision milled laser collimating and Cheshire collimator ($125 value), original battery pack (needs 6 AA) to cool the mirror by fan, and original dot illuminator finder. Please be aware that the truss tube design means you will need to spend 20-30 minutes on collimating every time you set this up and you should let the mirror adjust to ambient temperatures for at least 30-45 minutes before use. It shows average wear and tear for a scope of 3 years but is in great condition and has mainly been stored indoors. Please feel free to ask any question I will be 100 honest and forthcoming about this scope! Willing to travel up to 120 miles from Sacramento to deliver.
