Schieber Telescopes introduces the unique New Horizon 105 MAK Deep-Sky Astrophotography Bundle. The New Horizon 105 MAK is a amazingly low-priced and unique reflecting telescope, RA motor drive and long-exposure camera bundle designed for viewing and photographing deep-sky celestial objects; as well as, solar system objects. The bundle includes:

1. Skyline PRO 105 Maksutov-Cassegrain Telescope with kit of accessories.

2. GCMOS 1200 (1.2 MP) Long-Exposure Telescope Camera for capturing color photos and videos.

3. Right Ascension Motor Drive to easily track celestial objects as they trek across the sky.

The Levenhuk Skyline PRO 105 MAK is a catadioptric telescope of Maksutov-Cassegrain design that delivers high-quality views while remaining compact and lightweight. The 102-millimeter (4-inch) aperture gathers 23% more light than a 90-millimeter (3.5-inch) counterpart, and the telescope's long focal length - 1300 millimeters (51 inches) - allows for high magnifications that deliver sharp images during observations and astrophotography. This telescope may also be used for observations of deep-sky objects, like planetary nebulae and star clusters.

The GCMOS 1.2 MP long-exposure camera has a wide application for astrophotography. The telescope camera can be used for viewing and photographing deep-sky objects, such as galaxies, star clusters and nebulae and  solar system objects, such as the Moon, Sun, and planets. The camera uses a carefully selected sensor with high sensitivity and fast frame rate, as well as long time exposure.

The Right Ascension Motor Drive for equatorial mounts has a variable speed motor, which can accurately track celestial objects. This single axis drive works on EQ1 and EQ2 equatorial mounts and allows the amateur astronomer to maintain total control whether an image is tracked automatically or manually. Hemisphere control (north/south) is controlled by a switch. The included 9V battery will last about 40 hours.

An instruction sheet is provided with the camera and motor drive package explaining how they are installed and best practices for use. Please note that the digital eyepiece camera and motor drive package is shipped separately from Ramona, CA and the telescope package is shipped from the Levenhuk warehouse in Tampa, FL.

Levenhuk Skyline PRO series telescope was designed for advanced and demanding astronomers and includes a range of different models. The one thing in common is maximum precision and reliability during observations and astrophotography, high-quality materials and optics. All of our telescopes come with a lifetime warranty.
