This large refractor telescope puts out some really nice images of the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars better than the Unitron I have listed. It is about a 4 inch Refractor, and it is baffled on inside an older style. No dew shield and It also comes with a CG4 Equatorial Mount, pictured in the second image. More to be added. The lens has a small nick, bubble, or defect on inside of lens. It is not visible in the eyepiece, and about the size of a pencil point, perhaps a manufacturing flaw, which was common on older lenses. The images are so sharp, that I saw Saturn's Cassini divide and both A and B rings, with the Shadow of planet on ring and shadow of ring on planet cloud belts on planet, very distinctly, m22, M13, Ring Nebula, Jupiter and its mouth, bands, shadows, and moons. It puts out to about 300 to 330x of pure, clear power magnification. Both mount and scope are big and heavy. This would make a great x Mas present, and the lens has extraordinary clarity. a drive motor can be added for a later present on to CG4 Mount. My guess is the lens is of high precision, and the tube is solid brass, thicker, hard to dent, maybe for a ship sorta brass. The total weight of mount and scope must be 35 lbs, give or take a few. The mount being most of the weight. Comes with a few accessories. No Overseas, bidding and bidding in the CONTUS USA only.
