This Zeiss Starmor 60mm scope dates to the 1920’s or 30’s.
It is very complete. This is a general purpose scope. It’s great as a spotting
scope and does a nice job for astronomical subjects as well. Everything works
perfectly on this instrument. The optics are great with no major blemishes. All
three eyepieces focus properly and deliver nice images. There is a dent to the
dew shield but it still slides out. The carry case is very well made of leather
and is missing a long strap but otherwise in nice condition.
The table-top stand for this scope is a replica. It is a
pretty fair duplicate of an original as seen in one of the photos. It is
